Christmas came early at the Olivia White Hospice Home! This morning, our entire kitchen was restocked with new equipment and cooking supplies by the employees at the East Side Cluster of W.L. We couldn’t be more grateful for the generosity that this wonderful Flagstaff community continues to show us. Thank you so much!

Ever since we moved the Hodge Podge Thrift store, we have been making huge improvements to make it even better! Just this past week, we added a wonderful new store manager to our team that we are truly excited to work with. As your local community partner in hospice, we would like to introduce you to Judy Shields! After being here for a only a handful of days she is already starting to make the store feel more welcoming; we can’t wait for everyone to meet her!
This past spring, our CEO, Trish Bartholomew, had the opportunity to travel with nursing students and Northern Arizona University professor, Dorothy Dunn, to Santa Maria de Jesus, Guatemala to provide healthcare to the Guatemalan people. Thanks to the efforts of Trish and her fellow staff, they were able to treat over eight hundred patients over the course of three days. Since the program was so instrumental in providing care to Santa Maria de Jesus, Trish had the opportunity to present her experiences and goals after returning to the United States.
Below is the presentation that Trish prepared for her fellow nurses and professor. Don’t forget to turn up your volume; Trish has a lot to say about her experiences!
